This article is interesting. I was a little bit biased at
the beginning so I took some time to realize whether repetition is good or bad.
However, with some examples later, it was clear that the author praises the
lack of surprise of the Mediterranean food. I don’t know whether it would be good to eat the same thing everyday or not. I might probably get sick of the food too quickly
unless the food tastes really good. Anyway, it seems to contrast the author’s
ideas, which are advocate of repetition. Also, I wonder how cook can be
predictable and, at the same time, be capable of refreshing.
Interesting point. In Angola do you eat a wide variety of dishes, or is there some consistent staples that are eaten every day?
ReplyDeleteThanks, William. In Angola we eat a wide variety of foods but we are more turned to portuguese and brazilian dishes.
